1/24/2019 0 Comments Practice what I preachI read a post that, "the New Year rush of freshly determined gym goers" has begun plummeting and the month isn't even over yet. I am sick and tired of being a statistic. The new year stimulates a boost of beginnings and changes. This year I didn't want to delusion myself with new year resolutions that would surely fail. This year I just simply wanted to a add a few changes in my week (Oh and of course lose 40 pounds). No really ... those pounds do need to come off, but I am determined to stop acting like such a recluse and try to reach out to the public on a regular basis. I intend to blog at least once a month. Every third Thursday of each month I will post with the intention to help new authors with story ideas and pointers from my book; Build, Write, Launch and to keep my readers informed on what I am working on. In my book, I talk about time management and how to get your book written by utilizing time properly. I need to follow my own advice and tighten down the buckle. I want to be the perfect example for those of you out there that have real life struggles. All of us have our obstacles, but we can jump those hurdles. I promise. I am a wife, a mother of 7, a grandmother of soon-to-be 8. At the moment I am the main provider of 5 of us while my husband continues his education. I cut hair but I am so over it! My ultimate dream is to quit my full time job and write nonstop. For the moment this is my life and it is far from glamorous. I have to mention too, we just brought this cutie pie home ... because I don't have enough going on. We don't have to fall off the band wagon! We can hit it strong AND end strong. Next Thursday I will post a kick off with tips and teasers from Build, Write. Launch. These simple tips can help you stay on the right track for writing and getting published. RJ Heaton
