This morning sitting here staring at the computer screen, I was thinking about how to juggle everything I need to do. I feel exhausted today after waking up at two o'clock in the morning dreaming about giant Troll looking things that fell from the sky. They were coming to take over the world. In reality, maybe my sub-conscience is telling me I'm diving in head first and trying to achieve the same thing the Trolls are pursuing. Well, in that case I really need to figure out my time management. Right now, It's not managed at all.
I have been a hairdresser for twenty years this year. My entire career has been nothing but schedule, schedule, schedule. I have to be so time conscious. With writing I keep finding that my days and hours are limited, and I'm not getting as many words down as I should. Truthfully- I need to quit my day job. I need to focus more on my new found passion for writing and story telling.
Back to that balancing act. I know we only have so many hours in the day, and that number isn't going to change just because I would like to add a few more hours. I need to pull it together and make myself follow a tight schedule at home just like I do at work. Easier said then done. I am pledging to myself that I will write a schedule to keep my writing, wife, mom duties, house, and work stuff all in order. I want to dazzle the world with my stories, but I need to get the stories written.
Watch out world I am getting organized. I am going to get all my ducks in a row and blow all of you away! In the meantime, any time management pointers would be greatly appreciated.
