2/20/2019 0 Comments Just a sparkle in my eye I tried to post yesterday, but me and my technology were not seeing eye to eye. Of course, technology won. My apologies for being late. If you could see me right now, you would see me rubbing my hands together with a scheming, glistening-sparkle in my hazel eyes. I asked you in my last blog to write down in detail what it means for you to write. I wanted you to get specific! How did that go? Did you get any personal clarity for your reasoning behind that desire of yours to write? For me, the number one reason I write is, because I love telling a good story, and I want to bring entertainment for those who enjoy reading a good story. The idea of readers holding on to my books and cracking up over a character and something they did or said, or crying during a sad scenario that hit them out of the blue--is priceless to me. I want to take readers on a journey to places they have never been before. Confession time. The hidden secret for my drive to write stories ... Ultimately, I want to have acres of land with my very own homestead with cows, chickens, goats or whatever else kind of animals, a huge garden, and all the time in the world to hide somewhere in my oasis to write as freely as I want. My very own paradise. My eyes are hazed over with the mirage as I sit in my living-room as we speak. Oh yes ... book tours, traveling, more things visited, more things to write about! Dreams are just plans you haven't started yet. You're the only one that can make those dreams come true. RJ Heaton
