I have friends and family telling me to blog on a daily basis. Blog? What the hell am I supposed to blog about? I am not that interesting and unless you want tips from a 20 year veteran in the hair world, I feel like my knowledge might not go much further than that. Hang on though ... I can endlessly babble. I do have that gift of gab.
This morning falling into the daily routine, I (like always) was watching the morning news on CNN.
A group of people driven by religious faith is trying to take over the world. Bikers are shooting up Waco, Texas, killing 9. Amtrak derails and kills 7. It is absolutely depressing starting out the day watching the morning news. There are no; today is going to be a great day, we found the cure for cancer, no one will be without food ever again, or "Breaking News" there was no murders across the country today.
How has humanity disintegrated so far into this? Is being human not to be humane to others? This selfish behavior, that seems to be rampant everywhere, I'm afraid is not getting any better. How can we break this cycle? I'm sure we all have our own opinions on the matter, some might not even think of it as a problem- it is a problem. I have no answers on how to fix the world, maybe that Zombie Apocalypse will happen and do some much needed cleansing. However, I can say this ... try being human. Let someone go ahead of you in line, open a door for someone, say your please and thank you's and remember we are all here sharing this world for only a limited time. Make your time shine and be remembered as that amazing, sincere, caring, giving soul.
Anyone wanting to throw in some discussion feel free I'd love to hear your comments. Until next time, take heed.
